This one has been on my list for a while but I never got around to it. Finally gave it a shot and I like the game despite it's lightly repetitive nature. The atmosphere is effective where it counts, and it shows you know how to make things creepy. What this did for me is get me excited for your next project and I hope that's going well.
hi Megabyte Media! I featured your game in a recent Youtube video and had a blast! The experience was eerie and satisfying to play. I loved the art style you went with and was really impressed with the addition of dust in the air, as mentioned in the video.
I was a bit stuck during the rotation portion of the game and it would not allow me to exit the door to progress, even with trouble shooting the game. I also would have enjoyed a possible autosave during that section so that I would not have had to start from the beginning all over again each time i died.
Overall, making my way through the game was very enjoyable and I am excited to see what you continue to do. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who is interested in playing it. Thanks!
love the setting and layout and how it kept changing with each pass threw. I did not get that I was a barkeep though because of waking up at one of the tables. I thought I was more of a customer that they forgot to kick out when it became closing time.
The only thing I found frustrating is the platforming part was needlessly difficult for the wrong reasons like if you barely made it onto the next platform you would slide of instead with no chance to try to save yourself so that needs a bit of tightening up.
Also, I tried using my controller on the jumping parts but when I held forward to try to jump I would not jump as far as I would if I was holding down w and pressing space I don't know why that is. Quite frustrating.
Finally a question. What was then ending suppose to mean?
I love how you have the text setup on here to look like old wood writing.
Wow, thanks for the feedback! I heard the "customer" thing multiple times now, so it'll definitely be changed in the next update. For the platformer part, I could switch to a box collider for the player instead of a sphere collider. That should do the trick. Well the part about the controller is somehow irritating me, because I never added controller support to this game xD But it is probably just a feature of either Unity, translating controller Input to keyboard or a feature of the character controller I used. Well the ending has no specific meaning, you can literally interpret in anything you like, but it kinda followed the idea of alcohol abuse mixed with sleep paralysis. Anyways thank you for the kind words!
I love these website where people upload there indie games and allow me the chance to have usually a short fun experience. I figure the least I can do to say thank is write about afterwards. And really thank them for the time and effort they put forth into their project or tell them where it didn't work for me. Usually I get to awesome warm reply like yours but in the in it is I who should be thanking you for the hard work your doing.
Wow the controller may just be a side effect of using Unity. But it does work not well like I said but it is there. It does surprise me that it is there and you did not know it was. That is kind of funny that Unity would do that automatically.
Also if and when you think you get the jumping part of the game fixed and want extra pair of eyes to try it I be more then happy to take the trip back threw and play the game again, Because it would give a great excuse to play threw it again because it was that darn good.
This was a pretty good experience! A little rough around the edges, but I felt that gave the game a bit of charm. The rotating house was a very nice touch. Overall, I enjoyed playing this! Good work!
Had a blast playing the saloon MegaByte! The glowing eyes were so creepy! Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the feel of the game. It took me forever to get out of the spinning room lol. Thanks for making the game! I look forward to your other titles!
The game's ok for the most part, though some more time hammering out rough areas would be nice. Also, might wanna fix some of the missing textures (the missing banjo XD)
Certainly unique with the room spinning mechanic. I feel like there could have been some more polish in some areas, and a roof would have made the spinning more bearable, but overall I liked it.
Interesting... The game caught my eye instantly. I loved the atmosphere and sound design, the sequences during gameplay, especially towards the end made me wonder about a serious discussion subject, which I think was not your primary theme for this game, but can't notice the barkeeper's dream and the environment overall, hinted about alcoholism. It's just difficult to put the addiction problems in the game, because then it has to serious, but nevertheless I loved the game. Hope to see new projects soon. Good Luck!
Glad you enjoyed it :) And its impressive how you noticed, although it is never said, the βNightmareβ is supposed to be some sort of mixture between alcoholism and sleep paralysis. Well done!

Howdy! Here's yet another Let's Play to add to the pile.
Nice work on it! Clearly a little indie game, but it worked well in my book, for the most part.

I made a review of The First 15 minutes of your game! Check it out HERE, and keep on working at it!
It was helpful.
This was super strange! It made me feel weird and was pretty trippy with some of the effects you used. It's the second game I played in my video!
Thank you for doing this video!
Thanks, I appreciate it.

This game looks well
Thank you, I appreciate it!
GAMEPLAY WALKTHROUGH
Thanks
Hey really enjoyed the game. Very good sound. The rotating house was fun π. I also like the story behind it. I hope he put the whisky down.
Hey, thanks for playing my game and keep up those videos, they're super entertaining :D
It's hard when house is rotating
Well itβs supposed to make it more challenging
I FELT SOW GUILTY HAT I DIDN T PAYED FOR IT BUT UNFORTUNATLY I DON T HAVE MONEY
It's all fine, you don't have to if you can't afford it. Tbh I literally get a payment from 1 out of 1000
Nice experience.
Thank you
Amazing game dev and great atmosphere
Thanks, I appreciate it.
Good horror game! The audio gave me chills, and the atmosphere really creepy.
Glad you liked it!
Not the greatest of graphics or audio usage, but I must applaud you have worked really well with the assets you had at your disposal!
The gameplay was fun, although short.
I must admit, despite somewhat cartoony and lacking dolls, the game and atmosphere was quite scary!
So good work!
